Thanks for participating in our Hatch Shell conducting auction!

Our winning bidder will conduct The Stars and Stripes Forever, our national march, in the same venue where Arthur Fiedler, John Williams, and Keith Lockhart have conducted the Boston Pops.

No experience is necessary. The winning bidder in our auction, which ran on eBay until 8 PM EDT on July 10, 2005, will receive a conducting lesson from MWS Music Director Lawrence Isaacson and a souvenir baton with which to conduct the Metropolitan Wind Symphony, New England's Premier Concert Band, at our Hatch Shell performance on the evening of July 20, 2005.

For full details, consult our auction flyer (36k PDF). Contact Bob Piankian at rap@mws-boston.org with any questions.
